Multiplatform Activity system records the activity of rodents located in their regular housing cages. The system is composed of a platform that is located under each housing cage and records the activity of the animals inside the cage.

Each platform calculates the differential force per second performed on it and sends the data to a controller which is connected via USB to the Multiplatform Activity Register software. In contrast with other activity calculation methods, the system is compatible with any bedding and enrichment devices located inside the housing cage.

The system can register up to 36 simultaneous platforms connected to the controller in serial topology.

The recorded data can be analyzed using the Multiplatform Activity Viewer software that allows viewing any platforms with a one second resolution or the selection of an interval over which the average activity is applied. The software allows the export of data, both raw and formatted, in CSV format.
